Together We Move Mountains
Many of us, at one time or another, face daunting obstacles in our lives. Sometimes, they seem as big and challenging as mountains. Fortunately, charitable groups stand ready to assist.
By collectively supporting hundreds of charities through the Partners in Giving campaign, state, university and UW Hospital and Clinics employees in Dane County help conquer mountains of hunger, disease, pain, poverty, injustice, pollution.
Last year alone, more than 7,350 employees contributed almost $2.5 million through Partners in Giving. Their donations included:
- $578,000 to 131 charities that fight disease and promote better health
- $244,000 to 17 charities that provide food to the hungry
- $238,000 to 58 charities that offer vital services to children and families
- $215,000 to 56 charities that champion conservation and environmental protection
Partners in Giving aids local, state, national, and international organizations and causes that welcome your support. Explore this website to learn more about how these organizations make a difference. Then pick one – or several – and make a donation. Encourage a co-worker to do the same.
Every dollar counts. Each employee who contributes has an impact. And together we move mountains.
